Weight Loss Success Story
Jason,
The timing of your flyer could not have been better. I had just gotten
my annual physical and the numbers were deplorable! My weight had gone
up (again), my cholesterol was 290 (I was shocked) and my blood
pressure was still high even though I was on medication. I knew it was
time to get things back on track. I was not about to add more pills to
my daily routine – in fact, I was determined to get off the one I was
taking!
My first session with was on February 7th. By late June I could hardly
wait to go to the doctor for my follow-up physical. I knew I was in
better shape -- I felt better, and I looked better -- but I still
wanted to see the numbers. In just 4 short months, not only did I see
physical changes, my health had improved drastically! My cholesterol
was down to a healthy 180 and my blood pressure was also down – so much
that my doctor gave me the go-ahead to stop taking the blood pressure
medicine.
Within 4 months, my initial goals were met! I got off the BP med and
kept from having to take new ones.
My body has changed significantly. When I began I was wearing size 10
and quickly growing into size 12. Now I am back to wearing size 4-6. To
date, I have lost over 11.3 % body fat (that’s a little over 17 lbs of
fat)! And, I have improved my overall fitness level exponentially.
I look forward to my workouts and have made a lifestyle change as far
as eating goes. I am not on a diet – I just eat right! (Well, I try
to…..but of course Jason still gets on me about not eating enough.)
Many thanks to you for helping me achieve my goals. I now have new
ones….so I’m not done yet. I look forward to continuing my total body
and health transformation.

I always considered myself very active and in good shape…………until March 5th, 2004, the day of my first workout. I realized that having a trainer with you at all times could really make a difference in the intensity and accuracy of your workout. I also love the accountability of making an appointment for a workout. Your energy level and wealth of information about nutrition, fitness and personal wellbeing in general is amazing and makes working out something I look forward to 3 days a week.
Upon Jason’s advice, I purchased a pair of jeans one size smaller than I normally wear. They hung in my closet for 6 months in plain sight. They helped with my motivation and I was finally able to wear them comfortably in September. I was shocked when my second assessment showed a 9% drop in body fat percentage.
Jason’s patience and enthusiasm has also helped my daughter through a trying time with her own personal self image and I can never thank him enough for that. She was a new person after a meeting with him just one time and it was a major turning point in her life. Both my sons have also had sessions and they have received much help and advice to help them achieve their athletic goals.
As I approach my one year anniversary at the club, I just want to thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm at all times. I look forward to my workouts and to seeing all your smiling faces.

I have been training with Jason for 11 weeks and counting and I have not missed a session. I have gone from eating 1-2 meals a day to eating 6 meals a day. I have lost 2 dress sizes within the first 25 sessions. I feel 100% healthier, I am stronger and less stressed, I am happier than I have been for a long time and I feel so good about myself. I have tested Jason and his team over and over again with my self-doubts, but they are able to answer all my questions and most of all give me the encouragement and motivation I need every time I go. Their devotion and tireless optimism is even more appreciated when at times I think I will not succeed and I begin to doubt myself.
Through my change of attitude and lifestyle I have influenced my children to change their unhealthy eating habits and seek out exercise. Without Jason my fitness and nutrition plan would have been lost forever. I would still be overweight, depressed and taking diet pills to no avail.

Jason,
You have made a big difference in my life. When I first started with you I was at 220 pounds, my cholesterol was 350/my triglycerides were over 700. I was in pretty bad shape. This was in November, 2003. It is now March, 2004, I am at 200 pounds. I just had my check up with my doctor and my cholesterol was 195/my triglycerides were 145. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! Not to mention I have lost 2 inches on the waist.
Thank you Jason and your team for helping me gain my displace back, making me feel better, and giving me a lot more energy than I use to have.

I want to thank you and your team for changing my life. Through the support of yourself and the rest of the trainers I now have more energy and can accomplish more than I even imagined.
After I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 2000 I was very tentative to push myself or try anything new. I routinely had to take a rest mid afternoon just to get through the day.
I am happy to say that after working with you I no longer need those times of rest. I have the energy to go through the day with a positive attitude and focus. You have helped me to get out of my comfort zone and push myself (with the proper form) and try harder. I know that my muscles are in better shape than they ever have been and I am no longer afraid to try something new.
With the encouragement I have received I have even completed TWO 5K runs in the last 6 months. That is something I never thought I could accomplish even before the MS!
Jason and his team has also helped my family to eat properly to live a strong and healthy lifestyle. It was a hard concept for me to grasp, but with your encouragement I know that we need to eat healthy meals at regular intervals to keep our bodies and our metabolism moving.

On the first day, Jason, the owner, sat with me, discussed my goals, set up an individualized plan, and most importantly a realistic time frame to accomplish them.
My training has continued for a while now and it has been an absolute success. I have lost over 10% body fat and more than six inches. My metabolism has kicked in and I feel energized and motivated to tackle that over whelming “to do” list each day. Having the trainers constantly changing the routine keeps the sessions interesting and challenging but not frustrating. Instead of dreading the idea of working out, I actually make it a priority to be there.
Jason and his staff are always very patient, upbeat, and extremely professional. Being a mother and working full time I needed a place that would be flexible with my schedule and they have been just that. Additionally, the regularly scheduled assessments clearly show which goals have been met and how to push forward to the next level.

Why Not ...The Fountain of Youth

When I started training last September I brought with me a lot of pre-conceived notions about my fitness potential. Being at the higher end of the middle age spectrum, I was convinced that middle age spread was in fact a truism and stiff aching joints comes with age progression. Through the years I've tried a lot of different things to keep in shape . From jazzercising my butt off in the 80's to nearly ruining my hip joints doing Billy Blanks Tae Bo work out too often.I've been on every fad diet out there . I lost 20 lbs doing Nutri-System !!! Trouble is I've been losing and gaining those same 20 lbs over and over again for the same # of yrs.
Since I started training just 5 months ago, the change in my fitness level and physical appearance is nothing short of remarkable. I get compliments from friends and family on an on going basis and I have never felt healthier in my life.
Truely, all of you; Jason,Chris,Tim and Norval are consumate professionals and I love working out there. Your knowledge and expertise in the business of Physical Fitness is extraordinary. The newsletters and the Get Fit, Stay Fit articles are so well written with so much valuable information that I find myself re-reading and I seem to find out more each time.
So in closing I'll share this story with hopes of not sounding too crass.. Throughout our marriage my husband has used many colorful adjectives to describe a certain part of my anatomy.... The words cute, little and tight were never included in any of his comedic criticism .. Imagine how it feels for me now to hear those words for the first time in 25 years?? Nothing short of incredible...

My trainer was Jason-- and of course, he is terrific. I believe he is dedicated to my progress and success, and I am extremely happy with my results. I know I look better, I feel better and I have much more energy than I have ever had before. I have gone down three sizes, lowered my cholesterol and I can even take down all of my friends....Well.. maybe not all.
Before beginning my cholesterol was 265. Doctors had me taking pill after pill to lower it with no success. After five months with Jason my cholesterol is down to 190!!! My “good” cholesterol is as high as it has ever been and my “bad” cholesterol is as low as it has ever been. Thank you very very much!!!” I have also lost 2 dress sizes which is a HUGE bonus!

Although an exercise program of three days a week was recommended, due to my schedule, I have only been able to attend twice a week. Yet, in three months, I have lost 10 pounds and dropped an entire clothing size. My original goals were to get more physically fit and help in reducing stress, both of which I feel are being accomplished – the weight loss is a bonus! A few years ago I hired a trainer for three months and so I thought I knew what I was going to get when I hired you.
Boy was I wrong!
I met my goals and then blew past them to a level of fitness that I have not had for twenty years. I have stamina and energy. I have lost the weight that crept on little by little each year. I look and feel great!
And I had fun. OK, it was really hard work but you have hired the very best and it shows. You guys know your stuff and you respect the client’s goals and needs. You celebrated with me when I lost weight and got strong. You coached me when I hurt my ankle and kept me working safely toward my goals. It is hard to leave but I know that I am taking the best of you with me. I learned so much that will carry me forward into maintaining my own diet and fitness.

Dear Jason,
Since beginning this adventure, I have lost more than two inches off my waist, nearly 16 pounds off my peak weight (20 is my goal!), increased my strength dramatically and I look and feel better than I have in over 15 years!
I used to work out 3 or more days a week, ran the 1986 NYC marathon (3:33) and placed in my age group in many south Florida road races. My peak pace was just a snitch over 5:30/mile for the 10K. Even at my “peak” of fitness, my workouts were typical guy workouts. No legs, only chest. No core, only arms. Well this lack of proper training finally led to a running injury sustained during a track workout. Slowly, even though the injury was healed eventually, I found lots of reasons to not workout.
